Ayub meets up with Simon on the bus and asks him about his first day at school. He mentions that Wilhelm seems like a loser and laughs at the gif shown by Rosh.

Episode 2[]

In the second episode, Simon returns home to find Rosh and Ayub playing video games. They both tease him about rowing practice, and do not understand when he expresses a desire to leave Bjärstad one day. Later, Ayub is joined by Simon and Wilhelm to watch Rosh's football game, and he teases his friend about his crush on the prince. The four drive home together on motorcycles.

Episode 3[]

Rosh and Ayub are shown driving on their motorcycles to the school to meet Simon. He tells them about the trouble he has gotten into with his father’s medication. When he later approaches, August refers to Rosh and Ayub as “thugs” and asks if Simon is threatening him. When the two friends drop Simon at home, they let him know they're angry with him.

Episode 4[]

Ayub briefly shows up on the bus sitting next to Rosh, a few rows ahead of Simon. They do not speak to him.

They try to cheer him up by joking about celebrity sex tapes, and Ayub says he has watched Kim Kardashian's. Simon tells them he’s quitting Hillerska and returning to Marieberg, and Ayub celebrates, excited that 'the gang's back together'. Rosh tells Simon she’d love to have him back, but doesn’t think he should quit because of something the school did to him.

Season 2[]

Both Ayub and Rosh take a smaller role in season 2, but are still present in Simon's life. In the first episode, Simon meets them on the bus and talks to them about the awkwardness of seeing Wille again. Ayub and Rosh advise him to move on and date Marcus. Ayub then accompanies Simon to said karaoke night and posts about it on his story. In Episode 2, the pair only appear briefly on a FaceTime call to wish Sara a happy birthday. In the third episode, Ayub watches as Rosh tries to train Simon up to improve his stamina. In Episode 5, Ayub and Rosh talk to Simon about the revelation that it was August who posted the video. The two encourage him to report this to the police. In the final episode, the pair appear in Simon's house, comforting him after he decides not to go to the police after all. The night before Wilhelm's speech, Ayub and Simon call and talk about the latter's plan, with the former encouraging him to decide what feels right to him.
