Synopsis[]
A combative rowing competition gets even more heated due to Simon's surprise guest. Summoned by the Queen for a talk, August fears for his future.
Plot[]
Wilhelm is doing a meditation session as he’s trying to keep his emotions in check with recent events. Meanwhile, a lawyer talks to August about the consequences of releasing the sex tape of Wilhelm and Simon, which could lead to a prosecution. Thus, he’s worried about his meeting with the Queen.
Meanwhile, Simon is unsure about his feelings for Marcus. While he likes him, he isn’t sure why he cannot fall in love with him. His friends think Wilhelm is bad for him. But Simon remains confused.
Wilhelm for his part, talks to Felice about Simon and Marcus because it is weighing on his mind. He then speaks to his therapist about the pressure he is under and the loneliness it brings.
Wilhelm finally confronts Simon about Marcus. Simon admits he is hanging with Marcus. Wilhelm for his part, wants honesty. Simon reassures Wilhelm that he and Marcus are not together.
Elsewhere, the new Prefect, Vincent, is having a difficult time leading, which August warned everyone about. He’s annoyed at Vincent for betraying him and has reduced his social activities as a result. Simon speaks to Marcus and tells him he is not ready for romance and is not sure if he ever will be due to the drama surrounding him. Marcus is completely understanding, raises that he knows about the sex tape, and insists he would never hurt him.
With a lot of confusion surrounding August and Sara, they finally talk to each other. August opens up to her that the Queen wants to talk to him about the video, and he’s concerned about it. He’s afraid of losing everything. Sara touches August lightly, and their intimacy grows, leading to the pair hooking up and having sex.
Sara reassures August that he’s not a bad person and tries to keep the intimacy as emotionally connected between them as possible.
The rowing team has fierce competition on the rowing machines with another team and are watched by a crowd of students. They ultimately lose because it seems like Simon was distracted by Marcus, who was watching in the audience. Afterward, Marcus kisses Simon and Wilhelm sees. The team blames the defeat on Simon for slowing down.
August finally meets the Queen for a talk, and he is immediately apologetic. The Queen dismisses his apology and tells him that what he did was damaging. But then, the Queen reveals why she really wanted to talk to August. She raises how Wilhelm’s behavior has made the Royal Court worried and tells August that if Wilhelm cannot handle the pressure of being in line for the Throne, then August will be the backup plan.
The Queen wants to plan August’s future in case Wilhelm cannot take the throne. She gives August a copy of the Jubilee speech in case Wilhelm cannot perform it.
Meanwhile, Wilhelm hangs out with Felice, and they suddenly get close and intimate. The caressing of each other’s hair leads to kissing, which puts Wilhelm in a confusing place. As things get heated, someone else enters the room, which breaks things up.
