On July 8, 2020, it was announced that the series is coming to Netflix, but it was still untitled. The is directed by Rojda Sekersöz and will be produced by Nexiko. The series is written by Lisa Ambjörn (head writer), Pia Gradvall, Sofie Forsman and Tove Forsman and will be produced by Lisa Berggren Eyre and Martin Söder at Nexiko. Lars Beckung serves as the executive producer.[1]
Casting[]
On November 18, 2020, it was announced that Edvin Ryding, Omar Rudberg, Malte Gårdinger, Frida Argento, Nikita Uggla, Pernilla August, Nathalie Varli, Felicia Truedsson, Mimmi Cyon, Ingela Olsson, Rennie Mirro, Livia Millhagen and David Lenneman joined the cast.[2]
Filming[]
The majority of the series is filmed at Kaggeholms Slott (otherwise known as Kaggeholms Castle), in Ekerö, outside of Stockholm, the Swedish capital. The royal palace scenes, are filmed at Stora Sundby Castle, in Eskilstuna.[3] The house where “non-res” students Sara and Simon live with their mother is located in Stenhamra. The series’ football scenes from episode two are filmed at Träkvistavallen, in Ekerö.[3]
